Question mark (BCG)

A product line or business unit with low relative market share in a high-growth market in the BCG Matrix.

Simple example

In the example, matcha is a question mark with 30% market growth and a relative share of 0.25.

Why does it matter?

It encourages small, measurable tests of the ability to gain share before committing substantial investment.
